6/13/2011 - SURF SUBSEA COMPLETES INSTALLATION OF SUBSEA TREE FOR LLOG |
| SURF Subsea, Inc. recently completed a tree setting project for LLOG Exploration Company, LLC. The company’s 292ft SURF CHALLENGER vessel, utilizing its 113Te heave-compensated lifting tower, set a tree through its 25 ft. by 23 ft. moonpool in Mississippi Canyon block 199 as part of LLOG’s Mandy project.
Additionally, over the past year, the DP II SURF Challenger vessel and her personnel have worked on a variety of projects including jumper recovery assistance, plugging and abandonment operations, pigging operations, and flowline abandonment.
The company recently celebrated its one-year anniversary of incorporation. Created in May of 2010, SURF Subsea was formed to be a worldwide provider of deepwater construction services including the installation and commissioning of subsea infrastructure. |
